Ancient beliefs about the energies of stones and their methods of use have been applied to the understanding of Charoite:

Charoite is for calming and soothing emotions.

Charoite helps us with acceptance of others and acceptance of situations over which we have no control (Serenity Prayer).

Charoite helps us see things from another point of view so as to rid ourselves of old habits.

Charoite enhances the wearer's giving nature.

Charoite has been used to bring about faster healing.

Charoite is for Inspiration.

Charoite assists us in finding our spiritual path.

Charoite is the Best stone I know of for getting through transitions smoothly.

Charoite has also been used for good luck.

Charoite wearers will encounter the best possible outcome in any situation they might find themselves.

Charoite vibrates well with the Astrological Signs of Sagittarius & Scorpio, and the number 7.

I have no medical evidence to substantiate the correlation between wearing this stone and the effects it will have on the wearer. The mystical healing properties offered above were partially paraphrased from one of a series of Melody's books in the LOVE IS IN THE EARTH series. Melody suggests that the metaphysical properties listed for each stone will have these effects on the wearer WHILE he/she concentrates on the desired outcome. The author further states that this is NOT a substitute for consulting your physician; and I agree. When I wear any of my stones or crystals, I feel empowered by them. Maybe it's just because I WEAR them with specific intentions -- it works because I told my mind it would, OR does it work because of the molecular interaction between my body and the stones/crystals? I don't know. All I know is it seems to work FOR ME.
