Chiastolite

Ancient beliefs about the energies of stones and their methods of use have been applied to the understanding of Chiastolite (also known as Cross-Stone):

Chiastolite/Cross-Stone is a good stone for problem-solving and discovering answers to mysterious events.

In days of old, this stone was worn to protect against the "evil eye", but these days it is worn as a symbol of devotion.

It has been used to facilitate astral travel and mind travel.

Is said to help us through situations that are disquieting.

It is said that wearing Chiastolite wards off negativity, and opposes any energies contrary to harmony.

Wear Chiastolite to maintain spirituality during illness.

Chiastolite is also a very comforting stone for those who are about to "cross over".

Chiastolite vibrates well with the Astrological sign of Libra, and the numbers 3 & 4.

I have no medical evidence to substantiate the correlation between wearing this stone and the effects it will have on the wearer. The mystical healing properties offered above were partially paraphrased from one of a series of Melody's books in the LOVE IS IN THE EARTH series. Melody suggests that the metaphysical properties listed for each stone will have these effects on the wearer WHILE he/she concentrates on the desired outcome. The author further states that this is NOT a substitute for consulting your physician; and I agree. When I wear any of my stones or crystals, I feel empowered by them. Maybe it's just because I WEAR them with specific intentions -- it works because I told my mind it would, OR does it work because of the molecular interaction between my body and the stones/crystals? I don't know. All I know is it seems to work FOR ME.
