Emerald

Ancient beliefs about the energies of stones and their methods of use have been applied to the understanding of Emerald:

Emerald is worn to promote happiness, hope, domestic bliss, and successful love.

Emerald is the strongest healing stone for emotions.

Carry Emerald for trust, courage, and loyalty.

Emerald can be used to enhance memory and the ability to know "right action".

Emerald is said to bring intensity and focus to our actions.

Emerald helps to eliminate any "roadblocks" which keep us from progressing.

Emerald has been worn to bring beneficial outcomes to matters of a legal nature.

And, of course, Emerald is used in healing layouts for the Heart Chakra! (I have a huge chunk of natural Emerald In Matrix that I like to use with laying-on-of-stones chakra balancing layouts.)

Emerald vibrates well with the Astrological Signs of Taurus, Gemini, Aries and Cancer; is the Modern Birthstone for May; is the Tibetan "Mystical" Birthstone for January; is the Lucky Charm for Gemini, and vibrates to the number 4.

I have no medical evidence to substantiate the correlation between wearing this stone and the effects it will have on the wearer. The mystical healing properties offered above were partially paraphrased from one of a series of Melody's books in the LOVE IS IN THE EARTH series. Melody suggests that the metaphysical properties listed for each stone will have these effects on the wearer WHILE he/she concentrates on the desired outcome. The author further states that this is NOT a substitute for consulting your physician; and I agree. When I wear any of my stones or crystals, I feel empowered by them. Maybe it's just because I WEAR them with specific intentions -- it works because I told my mind it would, OR does it work because of the molecular interaction between my body and the stones/crystals? I don't know. All I know is it seems to work FOR ME.
