Nuummit

Nuummit is said to be the oldest living mineral, formed over 3 billion years ago. It is ancient, and very hard to find. Nuummit (sometimes spelled Nuummite) comes mainly from Greenland. It opens, balances, aligns, activates and integrates the chakras. It is an excellent energy source. More metaphysical properties are shown below.

Ancient beliefs about the energies of stones and their methods of use have been applied to the understanding of Nuummit:

Nuummit stimulates intuitive, mystical, and psychic wisdom.

Nuummit helps us to deal with changes, attracting strength and perseverance.

Nuummit creates an energy field with the aura for protection against negativity.

Nuummit removes energy blockages.

Nuummit has been used by wise ones of ancient civilizations to invoke visions, and to provide insight into the answers required to facilitate healing on all levels.

Nuummit reduces anxiety and stress.

Nuummit has been used to relieve pain and discomfort associated with headaches and degenerative dis-ease. It is said that this stone can be used in general healing and in tissue regeneration.

Nuummit vibrates very well with the Astrological sign of Sagittarius, and the number 3.

I have no medical evidence to substantiate the correlation between wearing this stone and the effects it will have on the wearer. The mystical healing properties offered above were partially paraphrased from one of a series of Melody's books in the LOVE IS IN THE EARTH series. Melody suggests that the metaphysical properties listed for each stone will have these effects on the wearer WHILE he/she concentrates on the desired outcome. The author further states that this is NOT a substitute for consulting your physician; and I agree. When I wear any of my stones or crystals, I feel empowered by them. Maybe it's just because I WEAR them with specific intentions -- it works because I told my mind it would, OR does it work because of the molecular interaction between my body and the stones/crystals? I don't know. All I know is it seems to work FOR ME.
